When your dad’s one of ten, and your family has a massive dairy farm on the edge of the Peak District, and you’ve met the woman of your dreams there’s really only one thing to do.

Buy a tractor.

Because you need one with two seats in the cabin to drive back from the church after your wedding ceremony.

This was one of the earliest details Hannah and Jack told me about their wedding. Jack went tractor shopping, they readied the fields and constructed a huge marquee to fit all those family members. Hannah and her mum played an absolute blinder when it came to the decor, and Tineke Floral Designs built the most gorgeous wildflower arch. It was one of those typically English summer days - grey and rainy - but that didn’t stop the vibe. Or the ice cream truck!
