Caroline is actually Supermum. Not only does she have a one year old and a three year old, she’s also been running her own business from home for the past six months, making beautiful boutique childrenswear by hand. If you’re in the market for quirky, quality kids clothing, you should definitely check out her website, Little Bit Small.

Before their session I spent a lot of time chatting with Caroline about the kind of photos she wanted, how to entertain the kids for the duration, and what she might like to do with her photos. As it turns out, this was one of the easiest family sessions I’ve ever done! Not only did our creative vision overlap – we both prefer a natural, documentary style – but Elodie is one of the most delightful and funny 3 year olds I’ve ever met. Archie’s steely blue eyes are stunning, and once he’d got used to me and my camera he was a joy to photograph.

Both children were dressed in clothes made by Caroline, as this session served a double purpose – photos for Little Bit Small, and some family photos to hang on their wall. It was a pleasure to meet Caroline, Elodie and Archie, and I hope to work with them again soon.
