Have you ever crammed all your favourite people and things into a single day? Because if you’re saying no, and you’re engaged then stay tuned - I’m pretty certain that was Giselle and Matt’s mission when they decided to get hitched in the steel city this weekend. Their wedding was a whirlwind of the finest the city could offer - Matt getting ready in Kelham Island and having a pint with the boys, Giselle getting ready with the mums and her friends at home with their daughter in tow. Then onto a perfect humanist ceremony at The Lantern Theatre, followed by a party that did. not. stop. back in Kelham Island at The Mowbray.

It sounds so simple when it’s laid out like that, but the thought and care G+M put into their wedding day is second to none. To Giselle, it was important to celebrate her Jewish heritage, so they smashed a glass at the end of the I Do’s, and had a bit of chair dancing to boot. To Matt, it was important to tell Giselle, and everyone else, just how they have that aching need to be together, especially since the arrival of their daughter a couple of years ago. To their daughter, it was important to wave a fairy wand and just be utterly adorable. You’ll have to see for yourselves! The highlight wedding pictures are below, have a proper good look.
